Over the years I have collected articles from different sources to use in religious education. One of my favorites is the one that follows. I found it in the January 1990 of Guideposts. Although it was not written with an Orthodox Christian audience in mind, I believe it provides a perspective of how important a godparent can be! I've added comments along the way.
